The Douglas Hyde is delighted to collaborate with RTÉ lyric fm’s Ambient Orbit to present a live event in the Museum Building, Trinity College Dublin. Join us for a mix of field recordings, ambient music, live musical performances from Rachael Lavelle & Ryan Hargadon, Seamas Hyland and Méabh McKenna, and bespoke visuals from Tadhg O’Sullivan. Within the beautiful and historic setting of the Museum Building, this event will create space for the audience to immerse into music, environmental sound and imagery.

Ambient Orbit is a non-presenter led specialist music programme on RTÉ lyric fm, produced by Áine Gallagher and Peter Curtin. It occupies a unique space in Irish radio with its beautifully crafted mix of ambient sounds and field recordings from the Irish landscape.
