As part of this year’s Culture Night Late, Galway County Council proudly presents ‘Where Light Lingers’, an immersive light, performance and sound experience at Kylemore Abbey in Connemara in partnership with Kylemore Abbey and produced by Culture Works. This stunning nighttime event will captivate audiences as the grounds of Kylemore Abbey are transformed into a magical experience through light and performance by local and national artists.

After dusk falls, audiences will wander through illuminated pathways and corners on the grounds of Kylemore Abbey and discover a series of artistic and site-specific interventions: ambient soundscapes, soft illuminations and close-up performances. Each moment of this journey will offer space for reflection and wonder, with artists presenting works that echo the natural and cultural richness of the place.

Galway based artists Jane Cassidy, Linda Schirmer and Alannah Robins will come together with Dublin based Aoife Dunne, Wexford based Gillian O’Shea and Connemara’s choir Cantairí Chonamara to create an unforgettable Culture Night.

Where Light Lingers - Revision history
