Concept Null is a grassroots organisation dedicated to establishing new media art as a recognised art form in Ireland. In doing so, we want to help nurture a thriving community of artists, technologists, and enthusiasts.

Founded in 2019, our journey began as a platform for immersive audiovisual events, evolving into a broader initiative that connects and supports Irish new media artists through community-building and advocacy.

As part of our intitive, we run a bi-monthly newsletter with the aim of highlighting events, opportunities, while collecting crucial insights for the Irish new media art community. In addition to this, we host meetups, which are held across Ireland to provide spaces for artists to share their work, network, and exchange ideas, with virtual access facilitated via the Digital Artist Ireland Discord.

Our mission extends to engaging with key stakeholders—artists, academics, and policymakers—to amplify and connect the voices of those working at the intersection of art and technology.

Currently, Concept Null is run by RĂłisĂn Berg, Cailean Finn, Walter Nied, and Scott Robinson.

Concept Null operates entirely on volunteered time, and community donations.
