👋 Welcome
Hello there dear reader! We hope you are well and are getting through these hectic times safely.
Before we get into it, we just wanted to say we are so surprised and excited to see the fantastic response to our TouchDesigner Day! We see that there are many people on the waiting lists for the workshop, so when time moves closer to the day and you are not able to make it to the workshop, please let us know and return your ticket. We make these workshops free to keep them accessible to everyone and we trust that people are responsible.
Otherwise, the seminar and the evening meetup are free and have no cap and we will have a projector setup in Pharmacia for people to play around with patches so if you want to share some stuff, then bring your stuff.
Ok that's all the housekeeping we have for now, enjoy the read and feel free to reach out to us with any feedback or suggestions via email to [email protected]

101 Beginners Touchdesigner Tutorials
So for all the people who might not be able to attend our workshops for whatever reason, we can give you a little bit of a hint. Everything we will be covering in our TD introduction workshop is in the 101 Beginners tutorials on the Derivative website (and much much more) so if you are looking for a good place to start, that's where to look. They have also added an "201 intermediate" section too!
The Nature of Code (updated!)
If you don't know Daniel Schiffman then you are probably not into Processing (and that ok) but if you are then you may be happy to know that his "Nature of Code" book, which is a great place to start learning about creative coding with Processing, has been updated and is online for free with interactive code examples to play around with. Thank you Mr. Schiffman!
Immersive Art Is Exploding, and Museums Have a Choice to Make
An interesting essay article on how immersive art is forcing museums to change (some might say evolve) and goes through some of the difficulties museums may face in light of this.
