The UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts Karlsruhe is opening its doors to artists and media professionals from all over the world for the first time! The 2024 project funding program is aimed at creatives who deal with current social and cultural issues and make use of the potential of media art. International exchange, co-operation and interdisciplinarity are the focus of this call for proposals.
Funding will go to projects that are designed for outdoor spaces and create a high level of visibility for the public and can amount to up to 40,000 euros per project. The selected projects will be presented in summer 2025 as part of the âMedia art is hereâ exhibition.
